It has always had a dedicated and vocal fanbase but with one of the best games of the year that is outselling all previous entries in the series, new fans going to be left wanting more. As a result, the series is finally getting the attention it deserves in the West. Tales of Berseria Players embark on a journey of self-discovery as they assume the role of Velvet, a young woman whose once kind demeanor has been replaced and overcome with a festering anger and hatred after a traumatic experience three years prior to the events within Tales of Berseria.
